Property Questions in Horary
Real estate transactions are major life decisions involving significant money and long-term consequences. Horary astrology can address specific property questions: Will this purchase succeed? Will my property sell? Who will win the property dispute?
These questions have definite outcomes, making them suitable for horary analysis.
Houses for Real Estate
4th house: Property, land, buildings, home. The primary house for all real estate matters.
11th house: Gains, fulfillment of the desire, successful acquisition.
7th house: The other party (seller when you buy, buyer when you sell).
10th house: Reputation, standing, sometimes relates to the price or public aspects of the deal.
12th house: Investment, putting money into property, expenses.
Will I Successfully Buy This Property?
For property purchase questions:
Check the 4th cusp Sub-Lord.
4th cusp Sub-Lord signifying 4th and 11th: Purchase succeeds. You will acquire the property.
4th cusp Sub-Lord signifying 10th (7th from 4th, the seller’s gain) or 12th (your loss): Obstacles or failure.
Also check the 11th cusp Sub-Lord for whether your desire is fulfilled.

Will My Property Sell?
For selling property:
You want to dispose of property (4th) to another (7th) and gain money (11th).
Check if the 4th cusp Sub-Lord signifies 3rd (change), 7th (transaction with buyer), and 11th (gain).
The 10th house (4th from 7th) represents the buyer’s property gain. Its activation supports sale completion.
If the 4th cusp Sub-Lord signifies 4th strongly without 7th and 11th, the property may stay with you.
Timing Real Estate Transactions
When will the deal close?
Ruling Planets suggest timing.
Moon transiting through nakshatras of the 4th and 11th house significators may trigger completion.
Transits of slow planets to the horary 4th house can also mark timing.
Real estate transactions often take weeks to months; horary timing is approximate.
Property Disputes
For property dispute questions (inheritance fights, boundary disputes, legal battles):
The 4th house represents the disputed property.
The 7th house represents the opponent in the dispute.
The 6th house (victory over enemies) and 11th house (gains) indicate your success.
If your 6th and 11th cusp Sub-Lords signify favorable houses while the 7th is weakened, you may win the dispute.
