How I read your chart
My name is Parminder Chahal, and I have read charts for twenty-three years. I trained under Pt. Banshidhar Shastri in the older guru and shishya way, close study over years rather than a short course, and that grounding still shapes how I read. The mechanism comes first with me, the reasoning before the verdict. For much of my working life I did Linux systems administration alongside consulting, and the habit carries straight over into a chart. I look for the actual chain of cause behind a result.
My foundation is classical Parashari astrology, and it is where I return for any serious reading. Over the years I have learned to bring in tools from across the Vedic streams when a particular question calls for them, rather than force every chart through one lens. A question of timing, of temperament, or of the real strength behind an outcome tends to come into focus through a different part of the tradition. I have read for people across India and through years spent in the UK, the US and Canada, and I now practice from a village near Shimla. Everything is calculated in Jagannatha Hora, so the working stays transparent and can be checked.
What a consultation is good for
A consultation works best when you bring one area you genuinely want to understand. The most common is marriage and relationships, whether a partner is coming and roughly when, or why an existing relationship has turned difficult. Career and work come up nearly as often, questions about a job change, a business, a move abroad, or a run of time where nothing seems to progress. People also come during a hard patch simply to understand what is happening and how long it is likely to last.
If you do not know your birth time, or you are not sure it is right, we are not stuck. A single clear question can be answered through horary, which needs no birth details at all, and an uncertain time can often be narrowed down before we begin.
What a reading can and cannot tell you
There are things I will not do, and it is fair to be clear about them before you book.
I read timing, tendencies and probability. I do not trade in certainties, because an honest chart does not offer them. I will not predict death, and I will not diagnose an illness. If something in the chart points to a vulnerable period for your health, I will say so plainly and suggest you have it looked at by a doctor, and we can then work out the timing and the likely recovery window around whatever the medical picture turns out to be. Money and legal matters are the same. The chart can show you the better and worse windows and help you decide when to act, but the decision, and the professional advice, belong with you and the people qualified to give it.
You will not be told you are cursed, and you will not be sold expensive remedies to lift the curse. If there is a simple, sensible remedial measure worth mentioning, I will mention it, and that is where it ends.
How it works, and what it costs
One note before booking: if your birth time is uncertain, rounded to the hour, or remembered only as a range, consider the birth time rectification service first. A reading on the wrong chart helps nobody, and rectification establishes which chart is actually yours before we sit down with it.
The fee is a flat ₹2,100 for a consultation. It is the same wherever you are in the world, and payment in US dollars or another currency is welcome. There are no packages, no tiers, and nothing added on afterwards.
To begin, send me your date of birth, your exact time of birth and your place of birth, along with the question or the area you want to look at. If your birth time is uncertain, say so, and we will work around it. We then settle on a time that suits you, wherever you are.
Before we speak, I spend thirty to forty minutes going through your chart, so the groundwork is already done when we get on the call. The consultation itself is a voice call on WhatsApp, usually thirty to forty-five minutes. If a chart genuinely needs longer, I am happy to stay on, at no extra cost. We can talk in English, Hindi or Punjabi.

Common questions
Do you need my exact birth time?
For a full natal reading, yes, the time matters, because the houses and the finer timing depend on it. If your time is rough or unknown, a horary reading or a short rectification can usually get us what we need.
How do I pay, and in what currency?
The fee is ₹2,100. If you are outside India, you can pay in your own currency through PayPal, Wise or Remitly at the equivalent. Within India, UPI, Google Pay and the usual options all work. I will share the exact details on WhatsApp once you write in.
Is what I share kept private?
Yes. Your birth details and whatever you tell me stay between us.
How is this different from a free astrology app?
An app runs a calculation and prints a generic paragraph that fits everyone and no one. You can generate your own chart free on this site with the kundali calculator, and it is useful to have in front of you. A consultation is the step after that, a person actually reading your chart, weighing the combinations against each other, and answering the specific thing you asked, with the timing that goes with it.
Do you give remedies?
Only simple, reasonable ones, and only where they genuinely apply. I do not sell remedies or push you towards them.
