Where Raja Yoga applies here

Raja Yoga requires association between a kendra lord and a trikona lord. The 9th lord is a trikona lord by definition, and the 7th is a kendra, so this is one of the positions where the condition is genuinely available rather than merely claimed.

The precision matters. Occupying a kendra is not by itself association with its lord. What satisfies the condition is the 9th lord in actual relationship with the 7th lord: conjunction in that house, mutual aspect, or exchange. A 9th lord sitting in an empty 7th house with the 7th lord elsewhere is well placed and is not, on that basis alone, a Raja Yoga.

In KP, marriage is decided by the 7th cusp sub-lord signifying the 2nd, 7th and 11th. The 9th lord’s house placement is not part of that calculation, so a favourable Parashari reading here says nothing about whether a marriage takes place in KP terms. Occupying a kendra is not Raja Yoga. The condition requires association between a kendra lord and a trikona lord. A 9th lord in an empty 7th house with the 7th lord elsewhere is well placed and not, on that basis, a Raja Yoga.

It does not promise a marriage. The placement describes fortune arriving through partnership. Whether a marriage happens is a separate question and, in KP, a different calculation entirely.

Yogakaraka status does not require dignity. Leo and Aquarius carry it at neutral dignity here, and it holds regardless.

Maraka classification is not a prediction. The 7th carries that traditional association and it licenses no statement about lifespan for anybody.
