What the 5th lord carries

The 5th is the putra bhava and the house of purva punya, the merit carried forward from past effort. Why kendradhipati never applies here

Kendradhipati dosha holds that natural benefics ruling kendra houses lose benefic capacity, with the exemption that a planet also ruling a trikona escapes. The 5th is a trikona. So any planet ruling the 5th house automatically satisfies the exemption, whatever else it rules.
