Proper number selection is essential for accurate horary results.

The 249 Divisions

The zodiac is divided into 249 sub-divisions:

12 signs × 9 planets (ruling nakshatras) × approximately 2.3 sub-divisions per nakshatra = 249 divisions.

Each number maps to a specific zodiacal degree range, which becomes the Ascendant of the horary chart.

How to Choose Your Number
