Jupiter in Leo 2026-2028 Predictions for All 12 Moon Signs (Rashi-Wise)

Jupiter is in Leo from 31 October 2026 to 24 July 2028, in three stays: a short preview that ends on 25 January 2027, the main transit from 26 June to 26 November 2027, and a final return from 28 February to 24 July 2028. This page reads the transit from the Moon sign, which is the way the classical gochara texts read Jupiter and the only way open to a reader who does not have a birth time. The ascendant version, Jupiter in Leo 2026-2028 for All 12 Ascendants, is the one to use when the birth time is known; this one tells you how the same months will feel.

Everything here is sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsa, mean node, times in IST, calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris and checked against the date page, Jupiter Transit Leo 2026-2028. If you are not sure of your Moon sign, the kundali calculator gives it from the date and place of birth; the Moon changes sign every two and a quarter days, so a birth on a sign-change day needs the time as well.

How a Transit Is Read From the Moon

Count the sign Jupiter occupies from your Moon sign, Moon sign as the first. The gochara texts call Jupiter favourable in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th from the Moon and unfavourable in the rest, and that rule, with three refinements, is what the sign readings below rest on.

The first refinement is vedha, obstruction. A favourable Jupiter in the 2nd from the Moon is obstructed by a planet transiting the 12th; in the 5th by one in the 4th; in the 7th by one in the 3rd; in the 9th by one in the 10th; in the 11th by one in the 8th. The Sun and Saturn do not obstruct each other, nor do the Moon and Mercury; the nodes are not counted by most authors. Saturn is the only slow planet that matters for vedha in these months, and it falls on exactly one of the twelve signs’ obstruction points, noted below.

The second is Murti Nirnaya, the quality of the transit judged from where the Moon stood at the moment Jupiter entered the sign, counted from your natal Moon: 1st, 6th or 11th is Swarna (gold), 2nd, 5th or 9th is Rajata (silver), 3rd, 7th or 10th is Tamra (copper), 4th, 8th or 12th is Loha (iron). Gold and silver lift a mediocre placement; copper and iron temper a good one. Since Jupiter enters Leo three times, each phase has its own Murti, from the Moon in Gemini on 31 October 2026, in Aquarius on 26 June 2027 and in Pisces on 28 February 2028. The table below gives all three.

The third is Saturn. Saturn is in Pisces until 3 June 2027 and again from 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028, and in Aries otherwise. Moon signs in Sade Sati or under Saturn’s aspect feel the Jupiter transit as relief or as pressure depending on where the two meet, and the readings say so sign by sign. The Pisces transit is covered in Saturn Transit in Pisces.

Two more things. The Ashtakavarga score, Jupiter’s bindus in Leo in your own chart, scales everything written here: five or more bindus and the sign reading applies in full, three or four and it is muted, two or fewer and the themes appear without much gain. And a transit from the Moon describes mood, timing and the general drift of the months. It does not override the running dasha, which is read from the chart, not from the Moon sign alone.

Jupiter in Leo Predictions for All 12 Moon Signs

Aries (Mesha Rashi)

Jupiter in the 5th from the Moon. Favourable. Vedha point: the 4th, Cancer, where Ketu sits from December 2026; the nodes are not usually counted.

The 5th from the Moon is children, learning, romance, speculation and the quality of one’s own judgment, and Jupiter there is one of the three best gochara positions it has. For an Aries Moon the first phase is copper and the second gold, which matches the astronomy: the November 2026 cluster of Jupiter, Ketu and Mars in your 5th makes the preview restless, with a child’s matter, a sudden infatuation or a hasty bet, while the main transit of July to November 2027 is where the children prosper, the student passes, and the mind settles enough to decide well. Saturn’s Sade Sati for Aries begins in earnest on 3 June 2027 when Saturn enters your sign, so phase 2 arrives together with the heaviest Saturn an Aries Moon has had in thirty years. Jupiter in the 5th is the counterweight; it keeps the heart light while Saturn works on the body and the routine. Phase 3 in 2028 is iron: the same 5th-house themes return without the ease, and a decision about a child or an investment made then wants a second opinion.

A word on speculation. The 5th is the house of the gamble, and Aries Moons will be tempted through 2027. Jupiter in the 5th favours the careful kind and punishes the impulsive kind, and Saturn on the Moon is not the year for the impulsive kind.

Taurus (Vrishabha Rashi)

Jupiter in the 4th from the Moon. Classically unfavourable, with comforts. No vedha applies to an unfavourable house.

The texts give Jupiter in the 4th from the Moon a poor mark, and the reason is that the 4th is rest, and Jupiter is expansion; a Taurus Moon is pushed to do more about the home, the mother, the vehicle and the property than it would choose, and the 4th-house results tend to arrive as responsibilities. In practice this is the transit under which Taurus Moons renovate, relocate, buy or settle a parent, and in phase 1 the silver Murti takes the edge off; the November 2026 cluster in the 4th is still a month to watch the mother’s health and to avoid signing for property. Phase 2 is copper: the main transit brings the property or the move but asks for money and patience, and from June 2027 Saturn in Aries sits in your 12th, which adds expense to the picture. Phase 3 in 2028 is gold, the best stretch of the transit for a Taurus Moon, when a home matter finally settles and the comfort the 4th promised is felt rather than paid for.

Emotionally the 4th from the Moon is the inner life, and Jupiter there deepens it. Taurus Moons find the Leo months unusually reflective, with a pull toward the past, the family of origin and the question of where home is.

Gemini (Mithuna Rashi)

Jupiter in the 3rd from the Moon. Classically unfavourable; the 3rd grows with effort.

The 3rd from the Moon is courage, siblings, short journeys and communication, and the texts mark Jupiter there as a position that costs effort. The Murti is gold for phase 1, however, because the Moon was in Gemini itself when Jupiter entered Leo, and that is a real softening: the preview of November 2026 to January 2027 brings a Gemini Moon news, travel and a sibling’s matter without the strain the placement is known for. Phase 2 is silver, and the main transit is a working year in which Gemini Moons write, teach, negotiate and travel more than usual, and are rewarded a little less than the work deserves, which is the 3rd house’s habit. Saturn in Aries from June 2027 sits in your 11th and aspects your Moon and your 5th, so gains come slowly and children or students need patience. Phase 3 is copper, the least rewarding stretch; by then Jupiter has visited your 4th briefly and come back, and the 2028 months are better spent finishing than starting.

The 3rd is also the house of the mind’s restlessness, and Gemini Moons will recognise the symptom. The cure the transit offers is a project large enough to hold the attention for the whole of 2027.

Cancer (Karka Rashi)

Jupiter in the 2nd from the Moon. Favourable. Vedha point: the 12th, Gemini, which no slow planet occupies in these months.

The 2nd from the Moon is wealth, family, food and speech, and Jupiter there is favourable without obstruction for the whole transit. The Murti is the catch: iron for phase 1 and iron again for phase 2, silver only in 2028. A Cancer Moon has just had Jupiter on the Moon itself through the Cancer months, which many felt as a swelling of hopes, and the Leo phases turn that into money and family matters, but with friction. The November 2026 cluster in your 2nd is a month of expense and of words said too fast; the main transit of 2027 raises income, often through a second source or a family arrangement, and the iron Murti shows as the effort it takes to make the gain stick. Saturn in Pisces sits in your 9th until June 2027, a background weight on faith and on the father’s affairs, and then moves to Aries, your 10th, where the pressure shifts to work. Phase 3 in 2028 is silver and the kindest part of the transit for Cancer: the family settles, the money saved in 2027 shows its purpose, and Ketu, which has been in your sign since December 2026, leaves in June 2028.

Cancer Moons gain weight under Jupiter in the 2nd and speak more than they intend. Both are the sign of a transit that is working.

Leo (Simha Rashi)

Jupiter on the Moon. Classically unfavourable; in practice mixed, and personal.

Jupiter over the natal Moon is the one gochara position where I disagree with the textbook mark. The texts call the 1st from the Moon unfavourable, and what they mean is that Jupiter on the Moon inflates: hopes, appetite, spending, the sense of one’s own importance. A Leo Moon under this transit feels larger than life and is treated so by others, and the risk is in the sequel, when the promises made in the glow have to be kept. The Murti is gold for phase 1, so the preview is kind; the November 2026 cluster of Jupiter, Ketu and Mars on your Moon is nonetheless a disturbed month, with the exact pass of Jupiter over Ketu on the 12th, and Leo Moons with the Moon in the first three degrees of the sign feel it as an emotional jolt, a loss of appetite or a sudden change of mind. Phase 2 is copper: the main transit expands the life in real ways, a marriage, a child, a public position, a move, and asks to be managed. Saturn in Pisces sits in your 8th until June 2027 and then in your 9th; neither is Sade Sati, and Leo Moons are among the few signs for whom the Jupiter transit is not shadowed by Saturn on or beside the Moon. Phase 3 is iron and belongs to the Leo Moons with the Moon beyond 23° of the sign; it is the settling of what phase 2 enlarged.

The pass of Jupiter over your natal Moon degree is the date to mark. If your Moon is at 10° Leo, that is mid-August 2027; at 20°, the first days of October 2027; at 27°, early November 2027 and again twice in 2028, in late March and late June.

Virgo (Kanya Rashi)

Jupiter in the 12th from the Moon. Classically unfavourable; a year of preparation.

The 12th from the Moon is expenditure, distance, sleep and withdrawal, and Jupiter there is read as loss in the texts, which overstates it. What the 12th does with Jupiter is spend, and the better outcome is to choose what on: a stay abroad, a course, a treatment, a donation, a long rest. The Murti is copper for phase 1 and gold for phase 2, so the main transit of July to November 2027 is a 12th-house year with the best possible colouring: Virgo Moons who travel, study or care for someone in those months find the expense comes back in another form. Saturn is in your 7th while in Pisces and in your 8th while in Aries, so the partner’s situation and the joint finances are under slow pressure all through, and the Jupiter transit does not reach them directly. The relief is scheduled: Jupiter enters Virgo on 26 November 2027 and, after the brief return to Leo in 2028, settles there, and the 12th-house year is the clearing of the ground for that. Phase 3 is copper and short.

Virgo Moons sleep badly under Jupiter in the 12th, from thinking rather than worry. A regular bedtime does more for this transit than any remedy.

Libra (Tula Rashi)

Jupiter in the 11th from the Moon. Favourable. Vedha point: the 8th, Taurus, which no slow planet occupies in these months.

The 11th from the Moon is gains, friends, elder siblings and the fulfilment of wishes, and the texts give Jupiter there their highest mark after the 2nd and 5th. For a Libra Moon this is the best Jupiter transit of the twelve-year cycle, and the Murti supports it: silver for both 2026 and 2027 entries, gold for 2028. Gains arrive through people, which suits Libra, and the main transit of July to November 2027 is the harvest, with the combust window of 16 August to 15 September 2027 the only stretch in which a promised gain is delayed. Saturn in Pisces sits in your 6th until June 2027, which is where Saturn does least harm and some good, in work and in the clearing of debt; from June 2027 Saturn is in Aries, your 7th, and aspects your Moon by its seventh aspect, so the partnership and the marriage come under slow, serious review just as Jupiter’s gains peak. The two together are the classic shape of a Libra Moon’s 2027: more money, more friends, and a marriage or partnership that has to be decided rather than drifted.

The November 2026 cluster in your 11th tests a friendship over money or over a sibling. Settle it in writing, and the main transit will replace what was lost.

Scorpio (Vrischika Rashi)

Jupiter in the 10th from the Moon. Classically unfavourable; work without gain, until the gain arrives.

The texts mark Jupiter in the 10th from the Moon as a position of displacement: more work, travel for work, a change of place or position, with the reward postponed. The Murti is iron for both the 2026 and 2027 entries, which is honest about the first two phases. A Scorpio Moon is busier than it wishes to be from November 2026, is moved, promoted or re-assigned in the main transit of 2027, and feels the cost before the benefit. The benefit is scheduled: Jupiter moves to Virgo, your 11th, on 26 November 2027, and the 2027 effort is paid in the months that follow. Phase 3 in 2028 is silver and brings the 10th-house transit back in its kinder form, recognition rather than relocation. Saturn in Pisces is in your 5th until June 2027, slow for children and study and good for discipline; Saturn in Aries is in your 6th, which steadies work and health. Neither is Sade Sati, and the Scorpio Moon is one of the signs for whom the heavy months of this transit are heavy with work rather than with worry.

The father, and authority in general, is the 10th’s other subject. November 2026, with Jupiter, Ketu and Mars together in your 10th, is a month to speak to the father and to say less to the boss.

Sagittarius (Dhanu Rashi)

Jupiter in the 9th from the Moon. Favourable. Vedha point: the 10th, Virgo, which Jupiter itself reaches on 26 November 2027, ending the favourable transit rather than obstructing it.

The 9th from the Moon is fortune, father, teachers, long journeys and belief, and Jupiter there is its own house in the gochara scheme, a position of grace. For a Sagittarius Moon this follows a hard stretch, Jupiter in the 8th from the Moon through the Cancer months, and the change of key is felt at once. The Murti is copper for both 2026 and 2027 entries and iron for 2028, so the texts’ enthusiasm is tempered: the grace comes with conditions, usually a teacher or a senior whose help has a price, or a journey that costs more than planned. Saturn in Pisces sits in your 4th and aspects your Moon by its tenth aspect until June 2027, a weight on the home and the mother that Jupiter in the 9th lightens through faith rather than removing; Saturn in Aries from June 2027 is in your 5th, slow for children and study. The main transit of July to November 2027 is the Sagittarius Moon’s good year inside a demanding two: higher education, a pilgrimage, a reconciliation with the father, a mentor found.

November 2026, with Ketu and Mars beside Jupiter in your 9th, shakes a belief or a loyalty. Sagittarius Moons change their minds in that month about a guru, a creed or a plan. The 2027 months show whether the change was wise.

Capricorn (Makara Rashi)

Jupiter in the 8th from the Moon. Classically unfavourable; slow, inward, and survivable.

The 8th from the Moon is the position the texts fear most for Jupiter, and I would rather describe it than dramatise it. It is the house of the hidden, the inherited, the shared and the chronic, and Jupiter there turns a Capricorn Moon inward for the better part of two years: research, grief, a legacy, a partner’s finances, a long treatment, an old matter resolved in private. The Murti is gold for phase 1, silver for phase 2 and copper for phase 3, which is unusually kind for an 8th-house transit and says that the Capricorn Moon gets through it with help. The November 2026 cluster in your 8th is the one month that deserves care: avoid elective surgery, keep the diary light, expect a sudden expense. Saturn in Pisces is in your 3rd until June 2027 and in your 4th while in Aries, so the home comes under Saturn’s weight from mid-2027 while Jupiter works in the 8th; neither is Sade Sati. Rahu enters your sign on 5 December 2026 and stays until June 2028, which makes the Capricorn Moon’s 2027 a year of restless ambition sitting on top of an inward Jupiter. The two do not agree, and the Capricorn Moon’s task is to let the 8th-house Jupiter finish its work before acting on Rahu’s.

The reward is in the sequel. Jupiter reaches your 9th, Virgo, in November 2027 and settles there from July 2028, and what the 8th-house transit cleared out is what the 9th-house transit fills.

Aquarius (Kumbha Rashi)

Jupiter in the 7th from the Moon. Favourable. Vedha point: the 3rd, Aries, which Saturn occupies from 3 June to 20 October 2027 and again from 23 February 2028; the obstruction applies in those months.

The 7th from the Moon is the partner, the public and the other person, and Jupiter there is favourable and, for an Aquarius Moon, timely: Saturn’s Sade Sati, which began with Saturn’s entry into Aquarius in January 2023 and has run through Pisces since March 2025, ends on 3 June 2027 apart from Saturn’s retrograde return to Pisces between 20 October 2027 and 23 February 2028, and Jupiter’s main transit in your 7th begins three weeks after the June date. The Murti is silver for phase 1, gold for phase 2 and silver for phase 3, the best run of Murti any sign has in this transit. But there is a vedha: Saturn in Aries, the 3rd from your Moon, obstructs Jupiter’s 7th-house results while it is there, which covers June to October 2027 and the whole of phase 3. The reading that follows is therefore split. Phase 1, November 2026 to January 2027, is an unobstructed but shallow preview, with the Jupiter-Ketu-Mars cluster in your 7th making a partnership or a marriage question suddenly live. 20 October to 26 November 2027, when Saturn has backed into Pisces and Jupiter is in the last degrees of your 7th, is the one fully clear window of the main transit, and it is the window in which an Aquarius Moon’s marriage, engagement or partnership agreement dates if the chart promises it. The rest of phase 2 and all of phase 3 give the 7th-house results with Saturn’s obstruction: slower, more formal, with a condition attached.

Aquarius Moons who have waited through Sade Sati for a partner will want to read that as bad news. It is a timing note, not a denial; the chart’s promise, read from the lagna and the dasha, decides whether the event comes, and this says only which weeks are cleanest.

Pisces (Meena Rashi)

Jupiter in the 6th from the Moon. Classically unfavourable; good for work, hard on the body.

The 6th from the Moon is service, debt, competition, illness and maternal relatives, and the texts mark Jupiter there as a position of struggle. For a Pisces Moon the transit arrives in the middle of Sade Sati: Saturn has been on your Moon since March 2025 and stays until June 2027, returns from October 2027 to February 2028, and sits in your 2nd otherwise. The Murti is iron for both the 2026 and 2027 entries and gold for 2028, and the honest reading is that the first two phases are heavy and the third is the turn. Jupiter in the 6th is good for employment and bad for the constitution; Pisces Moons change jobs, clear debts and defeat competitors in the main transit of 2027, and pay for it in sleep, digestion and energy, with Saturn still on or beside the Moon. The November 2026 cluster of Jupiter, Ketu and Mars in your 6th, with Saturn on the Moon, is a month for the doctor rather than the astrologer. Phase 3 in 2028 is gold: Saturn is in Aries for good from 23 February 2028, off your Moon and into the last and lightest phase of the Sade Sati, and the 6th-house Jupiter shows its useful face, a position secured, a debt gone, an opponent withdrawn.

Pisces Moons are the sign for whom this transit is most clearly a passage rather than a destination. Jupiter reaches your 7th, Virgo, in November 2027 and again from July 2028, and the Leo months are what has to be got through to reach it.

Which Moon Signs Have the Best Months

Libra, Aquarius (outside the Saturn-in-Aries months), Aries, Cancer and Sagittarius have Jupiter in a favourable house from the Moon, in that order of comfort once the Murti and vedha are weighed. Leo has Jupiter on the Moon, which is personal and large rather than good or bad. Scorpio and Taurus have the working transits, where the result follows the effort by a few months. Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces have the quiet transits, and each of the four has a better Jupiter year after this one, from November 2027 for Virgo, from mid-2028 for Capricorn and Pisces, and from the end of 2028 for Gemini.

For every sign, the main transit of 26 June to 26 November 2027 carries most of the result, the November 2026 preview is coloured by the Ketu and Mars cluster and touches only the first three degrees of Leo, and the 2028 return settles what 2027 began. Avoid fixing dates that depend on Jupiter between 16 August and 15 September 2027, when it is combust.

A Short Note on Remedies

A transit does not need to be remedied; it needs to be used. For the signs in the quiet houses, the useful observances are the traditional Thursday ones, moderation in food and speech, and some regular giving in Jupiter’s name, to a teacher, a student or a place of learning. None of this changes a date. What it does is keep the person in the frame of mind in which Jupiter’s quieter gifts, patience, perspective and the right advice, can be received. I do not recommend gemstones for a transit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I read my Moon sign or my ascendant for Jupiter in Leo?

Both, if you have a birth time. The ascendant reading tells you which house of life the event belongs to; the Moon-sign reading tells you how the months feel and when they feel best, through Murti Nirnaya and vedha. Without a birth time, the Moon sign is what you have, and it is what the classical gochara texts were written for.

Which Moon sign gains most from Jupiter in Leo?

Libra, with Jupiter in the 11th, silver and gold Murti and no vedha. Aquarius has the better house, the 7th, and the better Murti, but Saturn in Aries obstructs it from June to October 2027 and through 2028.

Is Jupiter in Leo bad for Pisces or Capricorn Moon?

Heavy rather than bad. Pisces has Jupiter in the 6th during Sade Sati, and Capricorn has Jupiter in the 8th with Rahu on the Moon from December 2026. Both signs have their turn in 2028, Pisces as the Sade Sati ends and Capricorn when Jupiter reaches the 9th.

What does the Jupiter-Ketu conjunction of 12 November 2026 mean for my Moon sign?

It falls at 1°16′ Leo, in whatever house Leo is from your Moon, and it belongs to the preview phase only. For a Leo Moon in the first three degrees it is an exact pass over the Moon. For everyone else it is a brief disturbance of that house’s affairs in November 2026, with Mars arriving on the 12th and exactly conjunct Jupiter on the 16th. Nothing from that month is a verdict on the two years.

Why does the Murti differ between the three phases?

Because Murti Nirnaya is judged from the Moon’s position at the moment of each entry into the sign, and the Moon was in Gemini on 31 October 2026, in Aquarius on 26 June 2027 and in Pisces on 28 February 2028. Each phase is a fresh entry and takes its own quality.

How do I check Jupiter’s bindus in Leo?

In Jagannatha Hora, open the Ashtakavarga view, choose Jupiter’s Bhinna Ashtakavarga and read the number in Leo, 0 to 8. How to Check Transits in Jagannatha Hora shows the screens; the score scales every reading on this page.
