Jupiter in Leo 2026-2028 Predictions for All 12 Ascendants (Lagna-Wise)

Jupiter entered sidereal Leo on 31 October 2026 at 12:02 IST and will be in and out of the sign until 24 July 2028. Three separate stays, with a return to Cancer in between and a short excursion into Virgo, add up to about fourteen months in Leo spread across twenty-one. Before You Read Your Ascendant

The three phases. Phase 1 runs from 31 October 2026 to 25 January 2027; Jupiter gets no further than 2°47′ Leo, stations retrograde on 13 December and slides back into Cancer. Phase 2 runs from 26 June to 26 November 2027 and is the main transit: Jupiter crosses the whole sign, through Magha until 31 August, Purva Phalguni until 4 November and Uttara Phalguni to the end, and is combust from 16 August to 15 September. Phase 3 runs from 28 February to 24 July 2028, when Jupiter retrogrades back from early Virgo, stations direct on 14 May 2028 at 23°17′ Leo and leaves for good. Phase 1 is a preview that touches only the first three degrees of the sign; phase 2 is where most of the results land; phase 3 covers the last third of the sign again, backward and then forward, and settles what phase 2 began. If your natal planets in Leo sit beyond 3°, phase 1 will not touch them at all.

Who is in the room with Jupiter. In November 2026 Ketu sits at the first degree of Leo and Mars enters on the 12th; Jupiter is exactly conjunct Ketu on 12 November and Mars on 16 November. That cluster in early Magha colours phase 1 for every ascendant, and it has no equivalent in phases 2 and 3, by which time Ketu is in Cancer (from 5 December 2026) and Rahu in Capricorn. Saturn moves during this transit, so the double transit moves. With Saturn in Pisces (until 3 June 2027, and again from 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028), Jupiter in Leo aspects Sagittarius by its fifth aspect and Saturn aspects Sagittarius by its tenth: Sagittarius is the double-transit sign. With Saturn in Aries (3 June to 20 October 2027, and from 23 February 2028 onward), Saturn sits in Aries and Jupiter aspects Aries by its ninth: Aries becomes the double-transit sign. Each section below names both houses, because the house that both planets touch at once is where a promised event is most likely to date. The Aries years are in Saturn Transit Aries 2027-2030.

Transit is the trigger, the dasha is the engine. Jupiter transiting your 7th house does not produce a marriage unless the chart promises one and the running Vimshottari period connects to the 2nd, 7th and 11th houses. In KP terms, the cusp sub-lord decides whether the matter is promised at all, the dasha lords decide when, and a transit like this one picks the month inside the dasha window. When I name a house below, read it as “this is where Jupiter will knock”, and then check in your own chart whether anyone is home: the cusp sub-lord for that house and the dasha you are running. Ascendant, then Moon. These readings are from the lagna. If you know only your birth date, read the Moon-sign version of this transit when it is published and treat it as the emotional register of the same months. If you have the time of birth, the lagna reading takes precedence, and the Moon-sign reading tells you how it will feel.

Aries Ascendant (Mesha Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 5th house. Aspects fall on the 9th, 11th and 1st. Double transit on the 9th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 1st while Saturn is in Aries.

For Aries, Jupiter owns the 9th and the 12th, so it is your dharma lord passing through your house of children, intelligence, study and speculation, a house owned by the Sun, your 5th lord, who is a friend. This is the cleanest Jupiter transit the Aries chart gets in the whole twelve-year round, and it comes with a condition: Leo is a fixed sign, and fixed-sign transits give their results late in the stay rather than at the entrance.

The 5th house themes are the obvious ones. A child, where the chart promises one and the 5th cusp sub-lord connects to the 2nd, 5th or 11th; the second half of 2027 is the window, with Jupiter in Purva Phalguni from 31 August to 4 November being the most fertile stretch. Study and examinations go well in phase 2 for students, and the 5th house is also where an Aries person’s judgment lives: decisions taken between July and November 2027 tend to be better than decisions taken in the heat of the Mars-Jupiter-Ketu cluster of November 2026, which sits in this same house and makes the first phase restless rather than productive. Speculation is favoured on paper by the 5th and 11th together; the 5th cusp sub-lord and the running dasha still have to agree, and Saturn’s position matters here, so do not read this as a licence.

The 9th-house aspect brings teachers, long journeys and the father into the picture, and in the Saturn-in-Pisces months this is the double-transit house: a pilgrimage, a course, a mentor, or a matter concerning the father that has been pending resolves between November 2026 and May 2027, or again between late October 2027 and February 2028. The 11th-house aspect is income from the work, and friends; it is a steady background gain through phase 2. The aspect on the lagna itself lifts health and confidence, and when Saturn enters Aries on 3 June 2027 the lagna becomes the double-transit house: the person is reshaped, slowly by Saturn and generously by Jupiter at the same time. June to October 2027 is when an Aries person changes how they present themselves and the change holds.

Jupiter is also your 12th lord, and a 12th lord in the 5th spends on children and education, sometimes on a child’s education abroad. Budget for it rather than being surprised by it.

Watch for: the November 2026 cluster in the 5th tempting a hasty investment or a hasty romantic decision; the better months for both are in the second half of 2027.

Taurus Ascendant (Vrishabha Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 4th house. Aspects fall on the 8th, 10th and 12th. Double transit on the 8th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 12th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Taurus, Jupiter owns the 8th and the 11th and is treated as a functional malefic by most Parashari authors; it is also the 4th house that Jupiter is passing through, the house of home, mother, vehicles, property and inner peace, owned by the Sun, who is no friend of Venus. The 4th is a kendra and Jupiter in a kendra is never wasted, but the Taurus chart receives this transit as a mix: comfort and property on one hand, the 8th-lord’s habit of making you pay for them on the other.

Property is the first theme. Buying, renovating, or settling a dispute about a house or land is favoured in phase 2, particularly July to mid-August 2027 and again mid-September to November 2027, outside the combust window of 16 August to 15 September. The 4th cusp sub-lord must signify the 4th, 11th or 12th for a purchase to go through; if it signifies the 3rd, 5th or 10th instead, the same transit shows a sale or a move rather than a purchase. The 8th-house aspect carries inheritance and insurance and, in the Saturn-in-Pisces months, is the double-transit house: a legacy, a settlement, a sum that comes through the partner’s family, or an old liability that finally closes, between November 2026 and May 2027 and again October 2027 to February 2028. Gemini Ascendant (Mithuna Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 3rd house. Aspects fall on the 7th, 9th and 11th. Double transit on the 7th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 11th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Gemini, Jupiter owns the 7th and the 10th, your marriage and career lord, and it spends these months in your 3rd house of effort, siblings, short journeys, writing and communication. The 3rd is an upachaya house; planets there grow stronger with time, so the result improves from phase 1 to phase 3. A kendra lord in the 3rd is not spectacular, and that is the honest reading: this is a working transit for Gemini, in which the aspects matter more than the placement.

The 7th-house aspect is the one most Gemini readers will be looking for, and in the Saturn-in-Pisces months the 7th is the double-transit house. If the chart promises marriage and the 7th cusp sub-lord signifies the 2nd, 7th or 11th, November 2026 to May 2027 and October 2027 to February 2028 are the windows in which an engagement or marriage dates, with the running dasha choosing between them. If you are already married, the same aspect is the partner’s advancement and the household’s standing. The 9th-house aspect brings higher education, a teacher, or the father’s affairs; the 11th-house aspect is gains, and when Saturn moves to Aries the 11th becomes the double-transit house: June to October 2027 and from late February 2028 are the months in which Gemini’s income rises through a sibling, a friend, a contract or a publication.

The 3rd house itself gives Gemini what it does best, a lot of it. Writing projects, courses taught or taken, a second language, a younger sibling’s marriage or move, and travel of the frequent, short kind. The November 2026 cluster with Mars and Ketu in the 3rd makes the first phase argumentative; Gemini says things in that month it has to repair in December. Cancer Ascendant (Karka Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 2nd house. Aspects fall on the 6th, 8th and 10th. Double transit on the 6th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 10th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Cancer, Jupiter owns the 6th and the 9th. It has just spent five months in your lagna, exalted, and the Cancer return of 25 January to 26 June 2027 brings it back there. The Leo phases move it into the 2nd house of income, savings, family, food and speech, owned by the Sun, a friend of the Moon. The 2nd is a maraka house in the textbooks, but Jupiter is the planet least able to harm from there; what the 2nd mainly does with Jupiter is fill.

Income rises in phase 2, and the mechanism is usually a raise or a second source rather than a windfall; the 2nd cusp sub-lord connected to the 6th, 10th or 11th confirms it. Family matters, especially concerning a dependent or the immediate household, go better from July 2027. Speech and eating both expand; Cancer people gain weight under Jupiter in the 2nd and say more than they mean to in the first phase, when Mars and Ketu are with Jupiter in this house in November 2026. The money in that month should be left where it is.

The 6th-house aspect is debt, service, competition and illness, and in the Saturn-in-Pisces months the 6th is the double-transit house. For a Cancer person who is employed, this is where a job change or a new role arrives, November 2026 to May 2027 or October 2027 to February 2028; for one who is in debt, it is where a loan is restructured or cleared; for one who is unwell, it is where treatment is organised. Jupiter as your 6th lord aspecting its own house is a planet doing its job. The 8th-house aspect is slow, concerning inheritance and the partner’s finances. The 10th-house aspect is career and recognition, and when Saturn enters Aries the 10th becomes the double-transit house: June to October 2027 and from late February 2028 are the months in which Cancer’s position at work changes, and the 10th cusp sub-lord decides whether that is a promotion, a transfer or a departure.

The 9th-lord’s blessing is quieter here than it was in the lagna. It shows as the right advice at the right time, often from an older family member, and in a Cancer person’s growing confidence about money.

Watch for: November 2026 purchases and family arguments about money; both repeat in a calmer form in late 2027 when they can be settled.

Leo Ascendant (Simha Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 1st house. Aspects fall on the 5th, 7th and 9th. Double transit on the 5th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 9th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Leo, Jupiter owns the 5th and the 8th, and it is passing over your lagna, the body, the self, the way the world sees you. A 5th lord on the lagna is one of the better transits a Leo person receives, and the aspects it throws from there land on the three houses Jupiter is most at home in: the 5th (its own), the 7th and the 9th. The whole trikona of the chart is lit at once.

The lagna transit works on the person first. Health improves where it had been neglected, weight tends to go up, and confidence returns to people who had been doubting themselves through the Cancer months when Jupiter sat in their 12th. Phase 1 is the exception: in November 2026 Jupiter passes over Ketu on the 12th and meets Mars on the 16th in the first two degrees of your lagna, and for anyone born with the ascendant in early Leo this is a month of disrupted routine, a bout of fever, or a sudden change of plan, before the longer, kinder phase 2 arrives. Virgo Ascendant (Kanya Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 12th house. Aspects fall on the 4th, 6th and 8th. Double transit on the 4th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 8th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Virgo, Jupiter owns the 4th and the 7th, both kendras, and the Leo months put it in your 12th house of expenditure, foreign places, sleep, hospitals, retreat and the closing of accounts. The 12th is where a transit goes quiet. For a Virgo person this is a year of preparation: Jupiter enters your lagna in November 2027 and stays there, with interruptions, until August 2029, and the Leo transit is the clearing of the ground before that.

Expenses rise, and the better kind of 12th-house spending is the kind you choose: a stay abroad, a course, a donation, a treatment, a long holiday. The 12th is also the house of foreign settlement, and where the 12th cusp sub-lord signifies the 3rd, 9th or 12th, a Virgo person relocates or spends an extended period away during phase 2, July to November 2027. For Libra, Jupiter owns the 3rd and the 6th, which makes it a functional malefic in the Parashari scheme, and the Leo months put it in your 11th house of gains, elder siblings, friends, networks and the fulfilment of wishes. An 11th-house transit is one of the two placements where the functional-malefic label does least harm, because the 11th rewards anyone who walks through it. Libra receives this transit as income and as people.

Gains are the first theme and they come through others: a friend’s introduction, an elder sibling’s help, a professional network, a client who refers another. Watch for: lending to friends under the 11th-house glow; the 6th lord is in the room, and loans to friends under a 6th lord are debts, not gifts.

Scorpio Ascendant (Vrischika Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 10th house. Aspects fall on the 2nd, 4th and 6th. Double transit on the 2nd while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 6th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Scorpio, Jupiter owns the 2nd and the 5th, a wealth lord and a trikona lord, and the Leo months put it in your 10th house of career, authority, reputation and the father. Jupiter in the 10th is the transit people write to astrologers about, and for a Scorpio chart it is well earned: Jupiter has been in your 9th through the Cancer months, and the step from the 9th to the 10th is the step from preparation to position.

Career advancement is the theme: a promotion, a new designation, a public role, recognition for work done in 2026. Phase 2 is the window, July to November 2027, and the ten weeks after the combust period (15 September to 26 November 2027) are the strongest part of it. The 10th cusp sub-lord decides the form: signifying the 2nd, 6th, 10th or 11th it is a rise within the present work; signifying the 5th or 9th it is a change of field; signifying the 3rd, 8th or 12th it is a change of place. Sagittarius Ascendant (Dhanu Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 9th house. Aspects fall on the 1st, 3rd and 5th. Double transit on the 1st while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 5th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Sagittarius, Jupiter is the lagna lord and the 4th lord, and it spends the Leo months in your 9th house of fortune, father, teachers, long journeys, dharma and higher learning. A lagna lord in the 9th, in a friendly fire sign, aspecting its own lagna and the 5th: this is the Sagittarius chart’s turn, and the readings for your sign in the Cancer phase were cautious because Jupiter was in your 8th. That is over.

The 9th is where things come to you rather than being fetched. Opportunities arrive through a teacher, a senior, the father, or a stranger met on a journey. Higher education and research are favoured in phase 2, July to November 2027; so is a long journey, and for a Sagittarius with the 9th or 12th cusp sub-lord connected to the 3rd, 9th or 12th, a period abroad. The father’s situation improves, or his advice turns out to be right.

The aspect on the lagna is health and the self, and in the Saturn-in-Pisces months the lagna is the double-transit house, Saturn being in your 4th and aspecting the lagna from there by its tenth aspect. November 2026 to May 2027 and October 2027 to February 2028 are the months in which a Sagittarius person is reshaped: a change of residence or of family circumstance from Saturn in the 4th, and a change of outlook from Jupiter. The 3rd-house aspect is effort and siblings. The 5th-house aspect is children, study and judgment, and when Saturn enters Aries, your 5th, it becomes the double-transit house: June to October 2027 and from late February 2028 bring a child’s matter, an examination, a decision about education, or for the childless with the promise in the chart, a conception, Saturn’s delay being lifted by Jupiter’s aspect.

Phase 1 in November 2026 puts Jupiter, Ketu and Mars together in your 9th. Ketu in the 9th questions belief, and Mars argues with the teacher; a Sagittarius person changes an opinion in that month, or a guru. The 2027 phases show whether the change was wise.

Watch for: complacency. The 9th gives, and Sagittarius accepts. The 4th-lord side of Jupiter wants something built with it, a home, a course completed, a parent cared for.

Capricorn Ascendant (Makara Lagna)

Jupiter transits your 8th house. Aspects fall on the 12th, 2nd and 4th. Double transit on the 12th while Saturn is in Pisces, on the 4th while Saturn is in Aries.

For Capricorn, Jupiter owns the 3rd and the 12th and is a functional malefic in the Parashari scheme; the Leo months put it in your 8th house of longevity, inheritance, the partner’s money, research, occult study, sudden change and chronic illness. The 8th is the house every reader fears, and I would rather describe it. Jupiter in the 8th is the slowest, most inward Jupiter transit a chart gets. Things end, things are inherited, things are investigated, and the person is more private than usual. Nothing in it is a verdict.

The partner’s finances improve, or a joint matter concerning money is sorted out, in phase 2; an inheritance or an insurance claim comes through where the 8th cusp sub-lord signifies the 2nd, 8th or 11th. Research, a thesis, a deep technical skill, anything that requires sitting alone with a problem, goes well. Health needs maintenance rather than alarm: the 8th with Jupiter is chronic rather than acute, and a Capricorn person who gets the routine tests done in early 2027 removes most of what the transit could otherwise bring.

For Aquarius, Jupiter owns the 2nd and the 11th, both money houses, and the Leo months put it in your 7th house of marriage, partnership, business dealings, the public and the opposite of yourself. A 2nd-and-11th lord in the 7th, aspecting the lagna and its own 11th, is a marriage transit and a business transit at once. It is also the transit in which Jupiter is exactly opposite your lagna, and oppositions by Jupiter are the kind one wants.

For a single Aquarius whose chart promises it, with the 7th cusp sub-lord signifying the 2nd, 7th or 11th, phase 2 is the window, July to November 2027, and the weeks after 15 September when Jupiter is out of combustion are the strongest. For the married, the partner’s position, income or health improves, and the marriage itself becomes more public: a function, a move, a joint venture. For Pisces, Jupiter is the lagna lord and the 10th lord, and the Leo months put it in your 6th house of work, service, debts, competition, maternal relatives and health. A lagna lord in the 6th is uncomfortable for the body and good for the career, and the 6th is an upachaya, so the transit improves as it goes: phase 1 is the least comfortable, phase 3 the most rewarding.

Work is the theme. The 6th is employment as distinct from career; it is the daily job, the colleagues, the workload. How to Get the Most From This Transit

Find your lagna degree and your natal planets in Leo, and note which phase passes over them. Phase 1 covers only 0° to 2°47′ of the sign; phase 2 covers the whole sign once; phase 3 covers 23°17′ to 30° again, backward and then forward. A natal Moon at 25° Leo is touched in late October 2027, again in April 2028 and once more in June 2028, and at no other time. That alone explains why two people of the same ascendant have different years.

Then read the double-transit house for the Saturn-in-Pisces months and the Saturn-in-Aries months, and check the cusp sub-lord of that house in the KP chart. If the sub-lord signifies the matter, the double transit dates it; if the sub-lord denies the matter, the double transit passes as a busy period with no event. The dasha sits above both: a Jupiter antardasha or a dasha lord connected to the houses named above turns the transit into the event; a Saturn or Ketu antardasha with no connection to them turns it into a lesson.
